  • I found out why my tire was rubbing fender..

So I found out that my passanger side spring is sagging, and its pretty much dead.. so now I need a replacement. it is saggning about 1" and when I go fast over uneven surface it will rub..

    my question..

should i get a lowering kit with springs that are much stronger so they do not compress so easily and just lower my car.. (I like this option but have no idea how much I can lower it to avoid rub!)

OR... should I just get an a set of take-off springs and replace my rears..

If the wheels are properly backspaced and you are running something less than a P295 wide tire, you can run lowering springs without fear of having any wheel rub, especially in the rear.

I am running 245's and they stick out ..
the rims i got must have the wrong offset, as they do stick out... the dealer who sold me told me its for camaro/firebird application and it even says that in the freakin catalog by centerline, and also on their website.
