  • Suspension Technique VS Spring Tech

What brand do you think is better??? I just want to lower the rear of my 94 firebird 1 to 1 1/2 inches, to level it out. Suspension Technique sells their springs by the pair (rear only) for $80 plus $12 to ship. I found some Spring tech (front AND rear) for $110 plus shipping on ebay. Im thinking if I get the spring tech springs Ill just use the rear springs and sell the front ones on ebay. What do you guys think? Are both brands similar in quality?? Any help would be appreciated.
What I got you got to get and put it in you.

I have the super cheap spring tech springs off of ebay.
They lowered my car about 2 inches. It looks great. But... I wanted them for handling, not for looks.
They were really firm the first 3 weeks that I had them, and my car handled like it was on rails. After that they softened up a great deal. I guess they "broke in". Now they are like jello. They are really weak. I have more body roll now than I did with my stock springs. The rear springs are now good for drag launching, since they are so soft.

If you just want your car to be level, get the cheap spring tech. If you really want to handle well, get the tried & true suspension techniques.
