And WTF is that supposed to mean?
That means I hope he supported a site sponsor. I am ordering my Hotchkis Springs and possibly Bilsteins from them this week too. :D
well you can order your bilsteins from tbyrne and pay a lot more , or you can get them shipped to your door from bimmerparts for under $300. i don't care if they're a sponsor or not, they are over $400 from tbyrne and i wouldn't pay the extra money b/c they sponsor this website.

Its called paying for quality service and establishing positive business relationships that over time will save you more than being a cheap ***** and nickel & diming every supplier you come across. I have bought about 80% of my car's parts from TByrne. Were they always the cheapest? No, not always. But have Tom, Carol, and Julie gone out of their way, time and time again, to help me out? Yes. I have gotten some incredible deals and they have really helped me out with some of the unique needs that I have had. Its called good business and in the long run it pays.
And then get screwed when you need something else. All bimmerparts.com sells for F-Bodies is Bilstein shocks. Does it pay to establish a relationship with them? Um... yeah... I'm sure you're going to be calling them again and again.
If you want to be a cheap ***** and go nickel & diming every single thing you buy, fine. But in the long run, while you may think you're getting the better deal, you're not. With the "I'm only paying the lowest cost" attitude you'll eventually get burned, and when you do it'll cost FAR more to repair than if you had dealt with a reputable business to begin with. In the long run, good business pays.
I say again: you are a fool if you buy parts for your F-Body from a BMW site. Period.

He sells plenty of suspension pieces for the f-body and his business is EXCELLENT to deal with, plus he has knowledge and he's a great autocrosser.
I bought plenty from the place you mentioned and I still got screwed by them when there was a problem with an order. Now my business goes to places like Sam's who really do know the meaning of customer service.

I do believe it is a good idea to get parts cheaper from other sites. Yes, it is a site meant for BMW parts, but I have not seen a single member on this board complain about low quality coming from the shocks.
Of course I'll kick myself in the *** if I have problems with the shocks I ordered from them :D
Tom
Too many mods for this sig.
My car\'s site

www.FullThrottleV6.com
are the slp bilsteins different from the bilstein hd's? because i saw on SLP that they have the optional bilstein package, and then the have, the bilstein ultra performance, then they have bilstein level 2? wtf? are these all the same or different?
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
