The next morning after a long drive from Austin to Ft.Worth this weekend I had a delightful event happen. I was headin off to work and went to stop at the light at the end of the street and my brake pedal almost taps the floorboard. I still had pressure but not alot. So, I head to Just Brakes which, thank God, is just a ways away. The put it up on the rack and say my back left brake cable has been severed from by coil. They then recognized my back brakes had been swapped from an LS1 and couldn't work on it since its not OEM stuff. Gay. So I head off to the dealership and order 98 steel lines (both sides) to fix it. I was unaware that the lines from my '95 were significantly longer than the LS1s. I figure I could get 'em and go to an actual shop and have them install it there. Come to find out I'm not gonna even get them in until next Tuesday. As luck would have it I will be in S.Padre incoherant as a rock SO, no car or brakes till after I get back. Damn.
