Alignment???

I was wondering when you know you need an alignment. I just put C5 Wheels on my car with 255/45ZR17 all around and the car drives straight. Although it does have a tendency to pull left or right sometimes. I also noticed that my steering is a lil dead and vague off-center but crisp when pushed. How can I correct this and tighten up the steering and does alignment and camber have anything to do with it?

changing the wheels do not call for a new alignment if your really picky like i am go to alignment shop they can center you stering wheel and if it drives straight most of the time it sounds like your ok. i wouldnt worry to much . watch your tire wear

The steering wheel is fine but the car seems to drift and I don't believe its been aligned since it came out of the factory. Any ideas?

By all means get an alignment if you think the car needs one. However, it may not affect your issue. Low profile tires tend to follow road irregularities more. It's a big reason why car manufacturers use higher profile tires.
