i think i am going to go to 295/35/18..switching from the 235/55/16, it only makes the speedo off by .2 percent

Not to worried about .2%...not even woried about 2%, thanks for the warning though. You can get a 295 on a 9.5??? Well those are just the frounts, the rears are 11s and i am going to be running 315s so i am not to worries about getting the frounts to wide. But 265 is smallest but i can go as big as a 255?
Is there anywhere that would have all this info listed?2002 M5 camaro- VTR CAI, custom cat-back exhaust, battery compacitor, pullie, lowering springs, 32mm sway bar, cross-drilled slotted rotars. 1-10\" L7 in cubby.

I'd hop on tirerack, and check some tire sizes there. They list the recommended wheel width for each size. Choose a common tire, then choose "specs" and you should get a table listing all the sizes and tread width, diameter, wheel width, etc...\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

Negative. I have seen a 255/40 on a 17x9.5" rim. It wasnt too bad, but definetly not the right size. In my opinion a 285 is the right size, not a 275.
