ok ive had the hesitation problem, rough idle, terrible smell, smoke, i think black, no pickup no trouble codes. i though it was running rich i put in a afr guage and it says im lean way lean. how can i fix this? i hooked it up to a scan tool. everything was normal except the spark advance was jumping around following the rpm.

Next time the car is at normal operating temp, get out and look at your catylitic converter. If it's so hot that it looks white, replace it because it's bigtime clogged. Just taking a guess to your problem...
