Time for New Brakes

Well, it's time for a brake job on the Camaro. I was thinking since I have so many miles on my stock rotors and stock rear drums and shoes, I might as well just replace them. I came up with two lists, the first list with KVR rotors, are blank rotors, but I found that Powerslot rotors are only about $10 more. Do you guys think I should try and talk my parents (since they are paying) into getting the power slot rotors since they are only abput $20 more? And do you think this is a decent setup. I would like to eventually upgrade the rear drums to disc, but right now I'm on a tight budget.

First, do the drum shoes need to be replaced?
I've only changed the front's
I first upgraded to a slotted rotor (power slot) and kept the stock pad in there.
I just recently came across a gp or discount on pads and picked up the KVR pads.
I haven't put them in yet.
I did one stage at a time.
