Im lookin into new tires right now, cause my crappy Futura GLsomethin POS's are pretty bald. i have searched and not really found an answer, Ive been checking out Kumo Ecsta Supra 712's, but i hear that they dont hook up well at all, and then i have also heard that they hook up well but they dont turn well...im soo confused...BASICALLY im lookin for a tire under 100$ a pop, hooks up well with good treadware. Corner performance isnt as important as straight line to me and i live in texas, every day is summer here

Under $100 in 255/50/16 (the size I use) is slim pickings except for Kumho.

I have Fulda Extremo's (huh?).
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

P245/50R16 ES100 Yokohamas. Very sticky nice tires, good treadwear for something so stick (30K miles).

How much tire life do you need?

30k sounds good. The ones ive got have only around 10k on them but im pretty tough on them...so i guess its all relative...i will definitely be lookin at the yokos. thanks guys!

I couldn't hook on the 712's but for the cost its a tough choice. They did handle great. They were my first set of "better tires" When I bought my 18's although I was using 245/40/18's which is probally why I couldn't hook well on them.
