would having bad shocks hurt my 60' or 1/4? my 60s were lame my best was 2.299 and my worst was like 2.5 something. my mph was constantly 88, but im just curious. my rear shocks are completely shot. i mean, going over speed tables is like a 6000 lb cadillac.

could this be because I floor it all the time?
thanks in advance

well, not really, since it will just squat more with them being shot

ehh... I had decent shocks on the rear of my car... course they had ~$70-80k miles on them so they wer shot...

I woudl push down the rear and it took about 3 seconds for them the rear to come up...

I cut pretty consistant 2.0 60's and almost hit 1.9s, with lsd, 3.42s, and crappy street tires...

my shocks are beyong shot, hence the fact that they have 136,000 miles on them. you push down on the back and it drops like four or five inches. you punch it and it drops down then goes. I just thought it would help my 60' if it went instead of dropped then went, what do you think.
