I hear about how the stock suspensions of our cars is very parasitic to our performance. I was wanting to know what it is (parts mainly) that are the worst. If I want to upgrade specifically a 95s what should I start with. Nothing like gigantic but a good feeling and no power loss. [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

swaybars and maybe springs/shocks to start w/, as well as lca's. First, get some chassis stiffening components such as stb and sfc's, and then see where you stand. after that, bigger front/rear swaybars will help reduce body roll in corners as wel as increase traction off-the-line.

The short answer: If you don't understand suspension, get sfcs, stb. Good mods that are hard to get really wrong.

Longer answer: Read the following threads: SLP suspension kit, I'm lost about suspension, Swaybars? shocks?. The most important quote is:

"if you don't really know what you're doing you're better off NOT modifying the suspension. Research in this catagory is invaluable for money savings, reliability, safety, and other important issues."

Don't just follow what someone says on the net. Could be dangerous.

THanks for using my quote, I second that.

But in response to your more direct question, the weaker areas on our cars stock are swaybars and shocks. A strut tower brace is a very welcome modification too - if you push your car hard in corners AT ALL you'll notice a difference [img]smile.gif[/img] .

Past that, springs, LCAs, panhard - upgrade as needed after tuning the more important items listed above.

I'll agree with the above but for the LCA and panhard rod. There is NOTHING wrong with them but for the BUSHINGS. Either replace with ES or get the 1LE parts.
