I have just lowered my car and the size tires in the back are just the right size. Now the tires in the front rub when I make a wide turn. I was wondering if it would make a difference if I put 225/50r16 on the fronts instead of the 225/60r16 that i have on them already. Just want to know if I could do that or not...

yes it would, but you'd loose cornering ability. If you haven't gotten the car aligned, do it, cuz that may alleviate the condition. if not, and it still rubs, get aftermarket upper and lower a-arms that are adjustable so that you can align it so it doesn't rub.
