  • Cool rim + tire look??

Hey, I was thinkin about getting those C5 vette rims but ive always wanted to have the rear higher than the front, how would it be best to accomplish this? should i get bigger rims in the back or should i get higher profile tires in the back? also, i would like to have the tire stick out from the side of the car like an inch or so, if you look at it with stock rims+tires the back wheels are tucked into the car about an inch or two and it looks like a dog with its tail between its legs...very weak....anything i can do temporarily to get those tires out more? spacers or somthing? thanks oh yea 2001 firebird

2 ways of going about this.

1, go w/ 17's in front and 18's in rear. 275-40-17 front and 275-40-18 rear tires.

    2, go w/ 18's all around. 275-35-18 front and 275-40-18 rear.

I used 275 series since they're common width. personally, i'd do a 25.5-26.25" rim/tire combo in front, and a 26.5-27" rim/tire combo in rear, just to get a bit mroe rake. my probable rim/tire combo uses SSR C-1 rims(18x9.5) with either 275-35 front and 275-40 rear tires, or 285-35 and 285-40 tires. My "dream" wheel and tire combo is 17x11 w/ 315-35 front and 18x13 w/ 335-35 rear.
