this guy is locally selling a Hotchkis stb for only 40 bucks, but its for a 95 LT1. I did a search and only one person said it wouldn't because of clearance issues. any second opinions? BTW i have a millermatic welder so ill just weld it in place.

Being that I bought the STB for the v8 from BMR I believe it doesn't sit high enough to go over my throttle cables on the 3.4 I'm almost 95% sure that it won't fit the 3.8 either. I used to have pictures of how bad it doesn't fit. If it looks like it only comes up about 2-3 inches from where it bolts on then I know it won't fit the 3.4, which in turn, should not fit the 3.8 either.
