I can get Dunlop SP Sport 5000 and Toyo Proxes TS-1 pretty cheap so what are yalls experience with these tires. Thanks for any help.

I don't have personall experience with the dunlops, but a buddy of mine had them on his 69 camaro and they sucked big time. They wore quickly and wouldn't hook for ****.
For a great cheap tire I'd check into the kumho ecsta supra 712s. -
I absolutely loved my previous set of Sp5000s on my 2000 Firebird - they never hyrdoplaned and stuck like glue. Best of all, the cornering capability of them was great and they were dead silent on the highway.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

i have the asymmetric sp5000 (245/50r16). i like them. good all weather tire. i cant say anything about their snow performance since we didnt get any snow last winter. run good in rain. dry traction is good. for the money i think its a tough tire to beat.
additionally, tread pattern is pretty cool.Comment
