  • What a production...changing bulbs

Man alive next time I'll spend $15 or whatever at a shop. 3 hours later I changed 1 brake light and 1 main turn signal and 2 small running lights. The brake change went quickly but the directions in the manual aren't accurate. It said use a screwdriver to remove plastic screws in the front fender, not a single plastic screw to be seen. Had to unbolt 3 bolts, book said slide the guard out of the way, it doesn't slide out of the way you can bend it out of the way. I changed the running lights like that but to change the turn signal light I had to take out the turn signal housing cause of the retarded positioning of the light, 3 smaller bolts later I got that out. Then I saw why it was especially hard, the housing was burnt to hell and so was the bulb, looked like glue in the light receptical but the regular running light worked just not the blinker. Anywho I jammed in the new bulb reassembled it all. I ended up tearing out one of my fog lights to, the bulb for it anyway but I said screw it to fixing it and wrapped the housing (took bulb out) in a ziploc bag, I never use fog lights anyway. (Also that did include 40 minutes or so looking for another wrench and going back to the auto parts store because the bulb numbers listed in the manual were not correct.
