  • LS1 front brake swap

Just did the conversion today and I'm really pleased with the results. The only problem i had was with the brake hoses and I ended reusing the old ones.Yet they are too tight and I'm not happy with that. Have you ever come to that problem and do you guys have any suggestions how to manage this?

I just did the LS1 brake conversion also. I used the new brake lines however. What problems did you have with them?

Did you use the old frame bracket or the new one?
I used the old one and both old and new hoses come a bit short. If I use the new one seems like I'll have to modify the stainless st. brake line that connects to the hose, as the old one is vertical at the end and the new one has to be horizontal.?

Why do you call it the LS1 brake conversion...its just a 98+ brake conversion...the LS1s have the same brakes as the 6s.
