I used to get wheelhop really bad. I have made no suspension mods but its now gone. I never get wheelhop. What changed?

I have a single wheel drive rear end, and I get alot of wheel hop. Does anyone have a fix? Oh, I have a 3.4L, 5speed.

ehh your tires are proably getting less grippy.. this happens as they get older.. and that is what makes them hop is when they grab for a second.. rear end parts torqe up and spring back.. if the tire doesn't get grip the suspension doesn't torque up (axle wrap) and you get more wheel spin than wheel hop..

thats probly what it is. My tires dont have as much tread as they used too. So when I swap tires I would figure to have wheelhop. So whats a good suspension mod to get rid of wheelhop.

But thats what we are saying, New tires will tend to hop more because they have more traction. If you have old tires they will spin instead. I am going to try the lower control arms. Maybe you should do the same.

E-Mail me at CtTanya@aol.com when you have them installed and let me know if that fixed it!

pretty much anything rear suspention wise would help with wheel hop also a torque arm would help but those are a little expensive, I've got nearly a fully upgraded suspention from BMR except for the torque arm and I never get wheel hop and I've got the 3.8L engine not the 3.4
