  • Best 275-40-17 under $150?

Looking @ Hankook Ventus K104 @ $126.99ea at my tire store.

Does it include mounting & balancing? If so, it sounds like a good deal. I don't know anyone with Hankook's though, so keep me posted...if you go with them :D

I am sure the kumho 712's are under that but, they are far from the best.

Tires.com They have the Hankooks. Extras include mounting, balance, rotations, flat repairs ( had pasenger side flats on front & back last week, hit a chunk of metal in the road didnt think it did anything, walked into the garage in the moring, 2 flat tires, D***) is $10 ea. Just wondering if anyone has tried these. Tread pattern is awsome looking, plus says it is real good rain , thats my main concern, living in the northwest.

I had Fuzion ZRis for a while, they were the best cheap tire I've used so far. I've had and hated the Kumho 712s and the Yokohama ES100s. Running Sumitomo's HTR-Z (which is by far the cheapest) since they offer a really cheap 315/35-17, but don't have enough mileage on them to comment.

Little G uses those on his 17" 10 spokes. Great for wet and dry - horrible in the snow.

I'm happy with my falcon ziex ze512 122$ per tire, I really like mine. Great wearing, handles rain well. I like to let the smoke outa-em every once in a while.

I was happy with my kuhmo712s... may consider using them again.. they did harden over time but still good tire siince they are pretty wide.

when I got them they were $107 a piece.

                          How good are these tires?

I was gonna go to 285/40/17 my next time around because it was only like $5 more a tire...

but at $70 thats the best price ever.

I have Yokohama es100's and I like them alot. Good in rain and dry. Stick quite well at the track (from experience) better than a lot of the tires I have witnessed and experienced (for street tires). They are also quite quiet, not alot of road noise or turning like a lot of tires. Damn near silent compared to quite a number of tires I have run across.

They were $140 a piece though.
