  • Which of these 4 tires do you recommend?

I got prices for 4 kinds of tires... funny the place i go told me NOT to get the Kuhmo Ecsta. Anyways here goes- Oh and these are replacing my stock GAs

1- Kuhmo Ecsta ASX (119 each installed)
2- BF Goodrich Traction TA (109 each installed)
3- Goodyear Eagle GT-HR (115 each installed) Leaning toward that one.
4- Cooper Touring (105 each installed) and the shop recommended them.

I want something that is decent in rain/snow... I dont really car about how many miles i can get off a tire cause I dont drive a hell of a lot.

oh yeah and i get free tire rotation for life from them too.

    1) Some people sware by them, I hate them.
    2) Probaly the best tire in the bunch.
    3) Good for one year.
    4) Many people don't like them because they aren't a real big name, second best choice.

Thats what I think. You should be able to find most of these tire ratings at www.tirerack.com

Go with the Coopers if you just use the car for normal driving. My dad's shop has been a distributor of those tires for a few years now, and they are very good tires.

I would get two sets of tires. All-Season tires are crap, they're crap on dry road and they're crap in the snow, especially in an F-body. They're made to be good for everything and I think they're mediocre at best in all conditions. Get yourself some nice summer tires for the rims you got and then find some 16" rims and put some 225/60/16 snow tires on them for the roughly 3months of winter that we have. It won't be that expensive in the long run, and you'll be pretty happy with the results. I have Cooper snow tires and they're fantastic. I mean, if you've never driven an F-body with snow tires in the snow, you don't realize how great they are. Hit me up on AIM if you want any more info.

I have the BFG TA's Love them. I should shop around for prices though. I got my T/A's for $85 each (I know the guys so they probably gave me a better deal, but the first place I went to wanted $125 each and the guys I had put them on just laughed and said what was a total rip off.
