How are they, The mechanic that is putting them on my car said they are better than the napa and the other couple he named. He said there the best ones he carries.

WEll, got the new pads put on, and the rotors re-surfaced. So much better now. No more squeaking or anything. My car seems to stop alot better now. Plus I have a lifetime guarntee on the pads. The pads were $60 and the labor was $60 and the resurfacing of the rotors was $18. So Only $138 for the whole thing. Not to bad I guess.

Did you see him putting any antisqueal brake pad lubricant on the backs of the pads? Did he sand the pads' corners before installing them? If not, go back and complain - its all you can do since you didn't do them yourself. :/
