coilovers have their place.. but its not something that you just do.. you need to have a reason.. and there are LOTS of options..

ground control makes a kit for our car.. global west does.. and so does LG i think..

and.. your front setup is allready a coil over setup.. its jsut not adjustable.. I am assuming you are talking about adjustable spring pearches.. and not a ture coilover setup..

what excatly are you trying to accomplish with your setup?? We will atleast need to know that before anyone can give you any reasonable advice..

ground control and global west sell coil-over conversions for our cars. the kits allow normal shocks to have spring perches so they can have the spring mounted over the shock. in the front, our cars have a coil-over type setup already. in the rear, the shock and spring are separate. these kits are mroe reasonably priced, between 400-800 bucks front and rear.

LG motorsports makes a true coil-over kit. this kit allows total tuning of the suspention, from corner weights, ride quality, ride height, handling bias(understeer and oversteer), and can come w/ whatever shocks and springs u want, for a price. it starts at $1550.

you can corner weight a cround controll kit.. and run just about any spring rate you want to mess with the ride.. and adjust the height.. i think the springs are like $50 a peice though.. but they are nice linear eibachs for the fronts.. and suspension teqniques for the rears.. becuase of how our rear springs "pigtail"..

the onyl realllll differnece between the lg kit and the GC kit is that it converts the rear to a true coil over.. wich is nice.. but.. since we have a solid diff.. its not all that critical expecialy for amature racers..

NOT to mention.. go with the GC kit and you can still run in ESP for AX.. go with the lg kit and you are in some crazy class.. becuase you are relocating the rear springs..

jsut something to keep in mind if you ever plan to AX competativly..
