  • changing wheel size

i'm thinking about changing my wheels, and so therefore i will have to change the tire size too. anyway, so i wanted to know if on our cars the speedo and odo measure the back tires, front tires, or both.

you'll wanna recalibrate ur speedo, cuz the ZO6 rims/tires are 27" tall and ours are 26". if u were to put 295-35-18 tires on there, u'd be fine and the speedo wouldn't be off, maybe a tenth or 2.

just so you know, i think camaros look nice with the z06 rims, the gun metal color with a black camaro looks great.

Thanks arctc. i was gonna just put on 245/50R16, but those throw off the speedo by 2 percent or something. and i would much rather not have to get the speedo recalibrated -- don't trust other people with my car too much.
