I read the tire sticky at the top of the page and according to this I can put 245/50's on my factory 16" rims. My Camaro is a base coupe.
So I assume I will have no problems with these fitting on the rims.
Asking, because I will need to replace my tires by the end of the summer and I want a wider tire without changing my rims. That will come next year.

sorry...
will the 245's fit the rims.
I was told by a few people that they will not fit unless I go with a bigger rim.
Okay I feel like an A** I went to Tirerack.com and they listed a 245/50 for my car.
An even better way to determine this is to go to the specs for the particular tire you're looking at. It will list the recommended rim widths. Example:
712's suck and I feel sorry for you if you ever have to drive in the snow.

There are many better tires than the 712, but many do cost more. You live in PA, so you see snow, and you said you're looking for all-season.
In a P245/50R16 size, the best compromise for price/performace/allseason I think is the Avon M550s would be awesome. I have a set in 275/40R17 on my SS wheels and theyre fantastic, quiet, and good in all conditions and under $100/tire
Just check out other tires on tirerack. I prefer Dunlop, BF, Falken and nitto.

I have bf goodrich g-force KDWS and love them. They are W-speed rated, terrific on dry roads and amazing on wet, but I havn't tried them in snow yet though.
Black 1996 3.8 Firebird T5, SLP CAI, Pacesetter Ceramic Headers,160* t-stat, PCMforLess Tune, Flowmaster American Thunder catback, Car Sounds Cat, custom s-pipe, MSD coils and wires, NGK plugs, 3.42 posi rear, B&M Ripper, 245/50 BFG-G-force's
Does everyone have 245's rather than 255's? I know 255's fit, but they are the same exact height as the original 215's. Both are 26.1" high, I'm not sure about the 245's, but if the height is higher or lower, speedometer readings can go crazy.
for an AWESOME all season tire i would reccomend Kuhmo Ecsta ASX i have them and i love them. they work good in the snow...traction is unbelievable in the rain too
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
