My stock pads are giving me that nice little warning chirp. Based on the Modifications Encyclopedia, I'm looking at using Hawk HPS for their replacement. Yay or Nay? Are there any other options I should consider?

Probably will work fine, another good option are the Bendix pads if you don't need to race - theyre 100% quiet and almost dustfree, better than stock too. I used to use Bendix a ton, theyre just good pads.
Raybestos - do they suck?
How about the carbon fibre weaves they sell off fasttoys? Or the EBC Green stuff off tirerack? :D2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

NAPA might carry Bendix, theyre made by AlliedSignal so who knows... Just ask some local shops - I know of nowhere online you can buy them...2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

I got Bendix pads at Advance Auto Parts. I imagine that you would have one near you. Only cost about $40 for the fronts. Seem to be very good pads. Good stopping with no fading. I would definately recommend them.1979 Z28 Camaro, 1 of 10,000 Factory 4 speeds.
1994 Camaro Sport Coupe, M5
Best ET: 15.31@91.5 (25 hp NOS)

Just bought front and rears for my '96 from Autozone - not even sure what brand. Paid under $30 for the rears and under $20 for the fronts - both sets with a lifetime warranty (when they wear out, bring em back and get a new set!)
Haven't installed them yet, I'll let you know how they work!

The Performance Friction pads are awesome for the front and I would suggest the Hawk pads for the rear. I have had Raybestos before and the produce a lot of brake dust...I am much happier with my Performance Frictions.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

I've got the almost brand new Ceramix brake pads sold at NAPA. They have no metallic in them but instead ceramic. This causes virtually zero brake dust combined with excellent stopping ability and very little wear on the rotor. With my expensive cross drilled rotors this is a good thing.1995 Firebird 3.4L M5 Custom Shaved Door Handles, TA front bumper, TA rear bumper, Ram Air hood, 2k C5 18X9.5 Chrome rims, New PPG paint, TA rear spoiler, 2k TA honeycomb taillights, Rear silver pontiac inlay, all silver badging, H4 headlight Conversion kit, RK Sport Ceramic headers, Hypertech Programmer, Rear disc rearend, One piece driveshaft, 3.73s with LSD, Camaro Two tone seats, Custom Stereo install
