I finally figured out what this rattling noise was,the bushing on the front lower control arm went bad. i could see it popping out. My question is can i replace just the bushing in it or do i have to buy a whole new control arm? The guy at the shop told me i might have to buy a whole new control arm. Either way,is it something i could fix on my own, meaning is it a PITA to fix?
Ive figured out what to do,im going to buy a used FLCA from a 98 firebird for 40 bucks and put that in. It seems cheaper than to buy new bushings and have a machine shop put them in. Does anyone think thats the way to go?
