Hey, iv'e got a 1995 Camaro and I find it bottoms out way too easy, especially if i have guests in the back seats. What is the most likely source of the problem? rear shocks or rear springs? thanks.
Also here's some more info...
The car is currently at stock ride height on 225/60's, with about 108k.

My guess would be the springs. My car botomed out before with all four seats filled, so I installed rear springs from a 40k mile 97 Z28 and the problem went away. I don't think that there is much difference in the V6 or V8 springs, I just think my rear springs were wearing down.
It could be springs and shocks. Depends how it bottoms out. If you are just bottoming out like just straight up scraping when you take it as slow as possible then I would say replace your springs. If it doesn't scrape when you take it really easy then I would replace the shocks. The shocks control your car and the springs determine where your car is controlled at.
on a side note, I was scraping really bad everywhere and when i replaced my tires it went away. They were really worn and I think the tires gave me about 3/4 inch

It happens when i have the car even moderately loaded, sometimes with just one person in the back. If i take Everything at a very very slow snail's pace, around bumpy corners, small dips in the road, speed bumps, ramps into buisness etc, sometimes it wont bottom. but still does it occasionally with a fully loaded car. I might only purchase the rear spring set from a V8. Think that might fix it?

Have the shocks ever been replaced on the car? If not, that's definitely a good contributor to it. I'd also suggest the takeoff shocks/springs for a cheap alternative that should help you out.
If you have some money to spend, then go for the takeoff springs and get Bilstein HD shocks on all 4 corners. It'd make a pretty nice combo.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
