Hmmm, I have a pesky & intermittent ABS INOP light too. It appears after 10 mins of driving and stays on until I shut off the Camaro then reoccurs all over again after the next start up. I posted this under General Tech with no good results. My spoiler wing bulbs are brand new & operational. This light appeared after I test drove the car with 6 brand new AC Delco iridium plugs and 8mm wires. They are not crossed or overlapping and meticulously done one by one exactly how the factory routed them. A Search provided clues about it being my stock 1996 alternator on its way out but no matter how much I stare at the gauge, it seems to be working well with no apparent instrument panel flickering. I also have the stock AC Delco battery too. My guess is to spend $$$ on a new battery and alternator but not just yet. Any more ideas? I know I'm beating this to death but was unimpressed from General Tech. Thanks to all who reply.

Make sure all wires on the power distribution block and accompanying ground are making REALLY good connections. If that isn't the problem, check the ABS sensors on the front hubs and rear differential.
