• Need to rebuild a caliper

I remember I’ve seen nice write up on how to do the caliper repair (replace duster rings)
Could not find that link anymore.
Little help!

I JUST rebuilt my front calipers!

After you do the first one, the second is a breeze.

Just remember that removing the "dust boot" is tougher than the site says. The duest boot has a metal ring around it, and you need to get a flathead screwdriver behind it to bend the ring and pry it out.

If I had to do it again, I would rent a brake cylinder honing tool, just to do the brake piston bore.

I ended up flusing my entire brake lines with new fluid (it was near black)....I couldn't plug the brake lines like the installuniversity thing said.

Anyway, I put Morse Ceremic pads on and Autozone discs, and the car stops like a champ now!
