All F-bodies should have sub frames.. It helps out so much.. I have a set of Mac Tubular ones.. They were 119.00 and man its a big difference..

Most sfc's are good....just make sure that you get weld-ins, not bolt-ins. They are much stronger.

Everybody seems to like their particular subframe connectors. There's very little solid info about which to choose. Really cheap ones may be hard to install.

IMHO, proper installation (car on its' tires on a rack, good welder, etc.) is more important than which ones you get.

well, you want weld in for sure, its proven that bolt in will eventually round out the holes more and cause more play rather then bein hard and stiff, it moves. from what i understand, i have still yet to pick mine up.... i heard the kenny brown weld in's are great, tubular is usually better, but in this case, these are suposed to be real strong.

SFC's are nice. the bigger the heavier though. (

Bolt in's are fine. You install them yourself with all the tires on a couple of boards. (so car is off ground but level and under load).

Get them on nice and tight and then drive to a welder and have them welded on.

(defeats the purpose...i know...unless you find used bolt ons or those cool low profile tubular 3-point bolt-ons the guy is selling on ebay... )

1998silverbird, did your installer have any problems with putting the mac sfc's in? they are tempting due to their low price, i dont know if i should get mac or bmr. where do go to get sfc's installed? would a midas or exhaust shop do a decent job at it? i really want to put them on my car, im just afraid i might have a hard time finding a competent installer to put them on.
