• Important Question!

My Goodyear tires are starting to go bald, and I am thinking of trying another brand. I want a season tire, not a touring. However, here in NJ, I have to be able to drive in the snow. I was thinking about the BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDWS tire. I hear they have excellent all season traction, and long treadlife. However, I think I have have the 235/55/16 wheel size, and I don't know if they fit or not. Does anybody use these tires on their car? Please let me know.

Well, all-season tires tend to do fair in the snow but nothing does great. I would do like most people here and run a separate set of cheapo wheels with 215/60R16 snow tires in winter time.

If you can't afford that, I'm not sure what to recommend other than scan down tire rack's page of P245/50R16s and find the brand with the highest snow rating. Goodluck with that.

Yeah, all the all season tires pretty much suck.. my roomate got a set of KDWS's and well.. they were no better then my potenza re730's in the snow.. they may have been even a little worse.. and! they were not too good on dry roads.. so.. i dont really reccomend this tire at all..

There is not too much you can do about it beyond getting a dedicated snow tire.. and well i dont have any exprence with those either..

I am a student (at a school that rarly closes) and i have driven my camaro on snow and ice this last year w/o traction control.. lol.. it was "interesting".. but i got by.. jsut be carefull and take it slow.. and dont go out unless you need too.. thats all you can realy do..
