  • Shaving Calipers to fit Weld Racing wheels.

Any experienced in this matter? I have a pair of Prostars for some drag radials, but they obviously dont mount up right, they rub the brake calipers... Just a little bit it seems. Anyone know how much they had to shave off the caliper to make the wheels fit?

Well what size are you running?
I've mounted weld drag lites 15 x 10's in back w/ my drums and had no problems
      In front i have weld drag lites 15 x 3.5's and I need a 5/16th spacer

they are 16x8's. I will go with shaving down a little bit of them and see what happens.

I have some 15 X 8's and I wound up having to "shave" off the little rectangular protrusion area in the middle of the caliper (on the outside "edge") to make them fit ...
