I was doin 80 mph & almost lost control when the rear track bar ( someone specify this part for me? ) gave away from underneath and I safely pulled over. This is my 2 findings today >

Now my question to you all is if you look closely, I think the bushing assembly was installed incorrectly. The nut is supposed to go out the frame, then the bushing and then the bolt that goes through the hole to tighten it all but as you can see from the photos this probably does not hold true but I may be wrong to suspect. I need to ask a favor from any of you guys to peek from under your drivers side rear and tell me how that is supposed to be actually bolted on in sequence. This is my 2nd rear end and I'm suspecting that my local shop installed it wrong and nearly wrecking my car. I will clarify with extra pics if needed. Yes, the part where the track bar is perched on the axle cracked off! The 2nd photo shows some buffed out circular wear on the surface where I'm assuming the bushing is supposed to be but I'm no suspension expert at the moment. I need opinions from "stick welding" it together or junking it for a rear disc setup I saw on Ebay off a 95 Trans Am or save up for a Moser axle or the best way to save this axle until I get enough money again to upgrade. This is my 1996 Camaro RS with drum brakes. Thanks!!!
