  • Choices, choices --Should I replace or turn

I had all the signs of warped rotors, so I took it in to get fixed.
I just had my front brake rotors replaced with some brembo rotors and pads.

So I get in and take it for a spin, and I get a smaller shimmy than before under harder braking, So I ask him and he said my rears are a little warped.

Should I have them turned, and hope they don't warp too soon, or just replace them now and not worry about it for another 50K miles.

Basicly it would be $70 to turn them. and about double that for new rotors.

    What should I do?

turn them, and save up for aftermarket rotors down the line, or a better brake system, but that's over 1000 to do just for the fronts, and over 500 for the rears. a good combo for ppl w/o deep pocketbooks would be Baer eradispeed rotors, hawk or EBC brake pads, and some stainless steel brake lines.

      $70?!?!?! To Turn them!?

I have mine turned for about $5 or so... Take them off yourself and go HAVE them turned, don't pay labor for that. Whoa.
