  • lowering q's Re: shocks and springs

ok, so i plan on buying some progressive lowering springs, which will lower my car 1.4 inches (i think), which is cool, and obviously i need new shocks, what do we think about these:

will these be stiff enough, and good enough to be in my new, lowered system...

    thanks for any ideas

don't get those off ebay!!!! those are just slp take offs. slp has them on sale right now for $42.50. i have them on mine w/ rksport springs and they hold up well for a little while, but i'm ready for new shocks again when i have the money.

      thanks

well i've had mine on for about 2 1/2 years now. when i first installed them w/ the springs they were real firm. when i braked hard the car didn't nose dive and bumps weren't that bad. now i'm getting a little bit of nose dive and the bumps are getting rough. i don't drag race or auto-x either so i think you will be fine w/ those shock for a couple years like me. i rode in a car w/ bilsteins and i quicky realized i was in need of new shocks, thats why i want new ones soon.
