  • sway bar size on ls1 ws6?

i'm about to buy sway bars from a 98-up ws6 and i just wanted to make sure i'm correct on the sizes b/c the seller wasn't too sure. are they 32/19 on the new ws6's? stock bars on a 94 v6 are 30/17 right? judging from everyone's sway bar post i think i would like to try out the 19 rear bar and see how i like it. i'm getting a pretty good deal for both so if i want to get the 21 rear bar later on i won't be at a loss.

Stock WS6 front swaybar is 32mm hollow.
Stock rear bar is 19mm (not sure if solid or hollow).

I believe the V6's from 93-97 were 28mm/17mm, but I could be wrong.

thanks for the confirmation guys. i talked w/ the guy a little more and they are definitely off a WS6. i just had a question now about the bushings and endlink kits from thunderracing. i know the rear uses bushing and endlinks, but does the front only use bushings? the website has the rear kit which includes bushings and endlinks, but the fronts have bushings and endlinks listed seperately? what things should i order? heres a link. http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1070

          WS6 is 32/19

          93-97 V6 30/17

You will need bushings and endlinks for both front and rear. Bushings are different, endlinks are the same.

              Wait a minute.
I know the rear is not hollow.
I THINK the front 32 is solid also.
              Isn't the 35mm hollow?

Will doing this swap improve the handling?

I think you may be right on the rear, tho I'm not sure. I've got my 19mm rear off a ss sitting right here in front of me and it is one heavy mother. I don't think its hollow. The front I am fairly positive is hollow and I think most 35mm are solid.

                    Hey John!
The WS6 32mm bar is hollow.

It's a heck of a lot cheaper then going aftermarket. I'd recommend going for them.
