• which LCA's???

ok, so i have heard the BMR and i have heard that it is the best thing since sliced bread, but i chose not t ogo with BMR and am juggling a few other choices for lower control arms: Lakewood, Spohn, Edelbrock and Competition Engineering. I think that i favor Edelbrock and Lakewood. Does anybody know anything about any of these companies to help me in my search for a decently priced and QUALITY LCA?

I got my BMR control arms (Tubular, poly mounts) for around $100 (i think). Jegs sells Lakewood, so you might want to check them out.

      Quality - Hotchkis

I have a set of Lakewood Boxed LCAs with poly bushing.

FOr the price of under 90 dollars brand new I am very pleased with the result. Traction Improved greatly and haven't had a problem with them at all! great product for a great price.

What are you looking to get out of LCAs? Do you autocross? For all intensive purposes Robert is right as far as a tubular LCA is concerned.

I personally run billet aluminum double teflon bearing'd rod-ended units. They have zero bind and zero deflection, and the ride noise isn't even bad on them. You just have to know and understand a little about rod ends to use them and enjoy them. They did bump me up a class in autocross though, since they're illegal in ESP.

if you're going for drag racing go with the bmr boxed lca's. how come you don't want to get bmr? a couple buddies of mine had 1le's with their ls1's and then swtiched to the bmr and got better traction...wasn't night and day but they said it was def. noticeable.

Anything different than stock is noticable. So it really doesn't matter a whole lot.
