I have a set of 17x7 rims and i was wondering what size tire would fit the best onto the rim?

    17x7?! omfg thats narrow.

Well lets see... 235/50R17s will work, according to tire rack. P225/50R17s will also work.

Thats just so damned narrow, I wouldn't even run them unless I needed them for snow rubber.

These 17x7 were given to me so i guess im going to sell them. What size 17's are the best looking for our cars in width and looks? 17x8? or 17x9? or what is your opinions?

        17x9 to 17x10.5 all around.

if you go 18's, same widths apply.

        P255/45R17, P275/40R17, & P285/40R17s work nicely.

At least they were free I wouldn't run them though, stock with is a full 8" and thats actually quite a bit.
