  • which tires?

Hey guys, I have a '98 camaro with the y87 performance package. It needs some work but my dad is helping me pay for most of it but I have to buy tires myself.

The front tires are absolutely done and one has a crack in it and is basically about to blow out lol.

I was thinking about putting the rear tires up front and then getting new tires for the rear...what would be my cheapest yet most decent tire ? Would it be possible to get 2 new stock ones and how much would they run? Thanks!

If you have Y87, these would be the size that originally came on your car.

If you're going to get just two, you absolutely need to match the size (235/55 or 215/60) with the two you're going to leave on the car.

If you're getting four, either size should fit, since Y87 has the same wheelsize/springs/shocks as a base Camaro.

best bang for the buck tires I've ever had on both my 3.4 and 3800 were 245/50/16 Kumho Ecsta 711's. They're nothing to write home about, but for around 55 dollars a piece, they're great.

I have pirelli p8000 Drago. They are cheaper than the p zero neros. And are just about as good in my opinion.
