lowering q

besides handle and look better, would it make it any faster in a straight line? also what are the best springs in everybodys opinion. im an engine person and know jack squat about suspension

As far as lowering springs go the Eibach V6 springs are about the best so I hear. Your straight line performance shouldn't improve, but I doubt it will degrade by installing them much.

well i was thinkin that lowering it would reduce drag bc its lower to the ground- am i correct (and im talking acceleration beyond the 1/4, ya know the 110 mph days)

If you're talking about aerodynamics it will not decrease drag, but it will increase the velocity of air under the car which will increase downforce - thereby making the car slightly stickier at highspeeds. However, a 1.5" drop isnt anything that would be noticeable from a performance standpoint.

Now there will be less turbulence under the car, but like stated above at only a 1.5" drop you won't notice it much even at 140mph.
