  • Anyone ever deal with hotparts.com??

I'm finally gonna be getting some money soon and wanna do a few more mods to my car. I've started to realize I dont really race a whole lot, but enjoy the car mainly shooting through twisty roads. So I think it would make sense to stiffen up my suspension to add to the fun.

I found a guy on eBay from hotparts and also their website, hotparts.com. I was just curious if anyone had experience with their products? I just havent heard of them as much as like BMR or anything. I'm thinking about getting some Subframes and a Strut Tower Brace, possibly a panhard rod too. They seemed to have decent prices. Any input? Am I going the right direction to help on twisty roads, or should I look into other parts for that? Thanks in advance.

from what I have seen much of their stuff is basically knock off's of other people's stuff, like their bigger subframe connectors seem to be knock off's of kenny brown ones, which by the way I have but don't recommend, they are kinda dinky, I have them and was disappointed in what I got for the price. that's about all the info I have.

Maybe I will lean the other way then with a name brand part. I figure it can never hurt to ask around since a lot of smaller companies have really good products, but just aren't as well known.

I am going in the right direction with these though right? STB, PHR, and STB will help on twisty roads a lot correct?

Subframes will help a lot, always a good mod.

STB is debatable whether it will actually make a difference or not (I am sure someone will come behind me and say how much of a difference theirs made and now they can out handle an open wheel car)

PHR is cheap and you might notice a little help with traction if you have problems there. Handling... might make a little difference, but it will be small.

You already have shocks/springs and sway bars... with the addition of SFCs you will have made the most difference and the other parts surely wont hurt you.
