  • 19mm Rear, Bilstein HD's What front Springs?

I currently have 32mm front and 19mm rear bar with the Bilstein HD shocks. I noticed the car is a little unstable over bumpy roads during hard rain.

I know that the rear springs on v6's are the same as the v8's. To have a more favorable balance of oversteer/understeer should I use front v8 springs? I know they will raise the front end a little, but if there are any other suggestions I would appreciate it. I would not like to raise or lower the car if possible. Please help!

If you're getting oversteer, why not put the original rear bar back on the car? I'd guess the reason you're having this problem is that the massive 19mm rear is unsticking the rear end.

It's a better idea to stick the end of the car that's losing traction, rather than unstick the end of the car that has traction.

well I just put lLE springs all the way around and my car does sit quite a bit higher than it used to but it also used to sit lower than a normal v6 was supposed to also, I don't have a reason as to why this was the case but it just was.

Anyway I have only taken a short shakedown drive because I want to get an alignment done before I really push the car, and of course I haven't driven it in the rain yet but so far so good.

just so ya know I am now running
1LE springs all the way around
      32mm 1LE front sway
      21mm 1LE rear sway
      1LE lower control arms
      1LE panhard
kenny brown subframe connectors (they suck by the way get slp or something beafy made by your choice of fabricator (kenny browns are dinky!)
and a BMR strut tower brace.

next is to find some decent tires to put on the car
