  • Quick question about our shocks

is it just me.. and time for me to change them out or what but..
i have a 94 camaro and it seems like anytime i hit a decent pothole or some sort of bump my car takes it hard.. i know they arent meant for offroad or anything but it dosent seem like it takes it smooth at all is it most likely my shocks? my springs look like they're in decent shape but i doubt it would be them anyway i just want my car to ride smoother and not sound like its taking a huge hit by riding over a nice pothole.. even tho i try to avoid them.. our roads are ****ty over here.. thx for any help

If I remember right shock replacement is due at 60,000 miles, it may be 75,000.

If you have a Haynes manual it will tell you.
I have made a lot of money in my life, most of which I spent on cars and women.<p>The rest I have blown.

The general rule is street use shocks are dead in 5yrs or 60,000 miles. You might like the takeoff shocks from SLP as theyre stronger/stiffer valved than yours were when they were new.
