Ok so if you go with the weld in type how bad do you ruin the interior of the car form the hot metal? How much of the car do you take apart so as to not melt the carpet? any experiences shared here?

When the guy did mine I could see him weld a little here, move, and weld a little there and so forth. Didn't stay too long at any one place.
Experience really counts for this one.2000 Firebird convert, chameleon/tan, M5, Y87, TCS, BMR tower brace and panhard, KBDD sfcs, 245/50-16 GSCs
