  • New Tires Are On

WOW!! So far they are worth ever penny of $600! My car feels like it's glued to the road, and they aren't even broken in yet. From what I've seen so far they are increadible. I upgraded from 235's to 255's And I deffinately recommend it. The tires are Kumho Ecsta 712's. The tire place also said my rack looked good so thats a plus for me, I was worried that I might have to replace it.

the only thing that these tires are good for is cornering, off the line they suck.

I went with the 711's but went for 245/50... I love them. Theyre great cornering still, and for well under $300 installed, you can't go wrong at all.

Well I bought these tires for two reasons:
            A) They have increadible wet traction, and in Florida, that is a MUST
            B) For cornering
            C) They were cheep, only $110/tire. Not many high performance tires are cheap, and I was happy with my previous set of Kumhos

I haven't launched with these yet, I'm waiting until I break them in some more before I really start abusing them. But I am planning on getting some drag radials sometime in the future so launching isn't too important.

They do suck off the line at the track always, but do very well on the street.... until they are almost worn! ;)

Great rain tire, great cornering tire, good auto-x tire.... until the tread starts getting close to the tread wear warnings. Then rain traction blows, cornering sucks (major oversteer), and I'm not brave enough to run worn 712's at auto-x.

EXCELLENT BANG FOR THE BUCK! :D
