i have some 245/50/16s i want to put in the rear of my car. i have 235/55/16 up front. will this be ok if they are two diff sizes? how will speedo be affected? like 1%? cause i know 245/50/16 all around affects it 2%, so will just 2 245/50/16 tires affect it by 1%?

I think it's ONLY the rear wheels that affect the speedo. I'm not sure though. Are you sure about 245/50's? The total wheel/tire height would actually be closer to the 235's if you went with a 255/50.
Total heights in mm:
235/55/16 = 535.65
245/45/16 = 516.65
245/50/16 = 528.9
255/50/16 = 533.9

i'm stuck with the 245/50/16's already. so will my car have more miles on it or less miles on it than what it reads?2000 NBM M6 Camaro Z28<br />323/335

If 235/55 were the stock size, and you switch to a tire with a smaller height, like the 245/50, each rotation of the tire results in less distance traveled on the road. But the odometer doesn't know that, so it will show that you have traveled more miles than you actually have.
One consideration with using different sizes on the front and back is how it will affect the ABS system. The ABS looks for differences in wheel speeds. If the tire sizes become different enough, the height difference could set off the system. However, with the size differences you speak of, I doubt you would have problems.
