THE DAYUM TCS(Traction Control System) BUTTON IS ON! which is probably why I can't powerbrake. I'll try it now with the TCS off and see.

I have the auto with 3.42 gears and limited slip, and jesus chirst, can i light them fu*kers up. I dont know whats wrong with your cars, i think you are just too afraid to do it, also, the pavement could be part of the problem. I mean, i have left treads that are SOLD that are like 8 feet long, and smoke pours into my windows when im sitting still. So find some nice smooth pavment if you need it, and just be a man, its a car, not a toy honda.

Yeah, I can light my tires up real nice. The dumb people who sold me my tires actually sold me a 3 year, 50,000 mile warranty on everypart of the tire so I can do as I please.

Get some expensive 275 series tires and you'll wanna forget how to powerbrake. <grin>

Ok, I went to an asphalt parking lot and finally smoked them up. It's still kinna hard to though.

I don't have any problem smoking my tires in my 2000 Camaro A4 with 3.42's and LSD. I just hit the brakes and slam on the gas (flooring it doesn't hurt anything, your car has a rev limiter). You just keep adjusting the brake pressure... just let off the brakes as much as you can while still standing still. I don't do it anymore really though cause I'm already on my third set of tires. I'm too cheap to get good tires, and the stock tires on Camaro's burn off easy as hell.

one thing is that those lca's help put power to the ground but also torque and you might have to give it a little more gas to get the tires to spin. in my old car i had no prob but i put it all the way down and havent done it yet to the new one yet...

My BMR LCAs and brackets with the TCS on was probably the biggest reasons I couldn't powerbrake. I can hear my LCAs squeaking when trying to powerbrake. That's cool though. I get great starts now. No wheelhop or burnouts when punching it from a dead stop.

if you dont have a limited slip dif. dont do it, cause its gay, because it leaves one black mark. But i'd recomend doing it when you start donuts, you can really get goin round in one place....
if you do power brake without l.s.d. your friends will make fun of you and ask where this motorcycle burnout came from

I have no problems leaving rubber on the road with my M5. I can even lite em up on second..like when i go around a turn or something...just release the clutch, and punch it and it fishtails nicely into the curve. That was with my stock 3.23's...i can do alot more with the Richmond 3.73's that should go on this week.

I will have to say that this is the first and longest post I have ever read about power braking that didn't get flamed like no other. Personally I haven't lite mine up yet. I've tried a couple times but yes I am affraid. I used to do it with my 86 and ended up with unbelieveable brake problems in the rear, don't know if it was related or not but I'm a little hesitant now. And this ***** is rather hard to break loose. I can lite them up around corners and it does seem that once they started breaking loose on corners their more likely to break loose next time. You people are a bad influence cause next time I drive my car you can bet I'm trying this again. I'll try the brake stand. Doesn't this stress the hell out of the whole drive train and brakes? And I'm sure that kind of a load doesn't do good things for the engine. Oh well I don't exactly care just want to know what I'm doin to my car.

What also fun (sorry had to through it in) go down a street with leaves all down it on the road. Stop put foot on brake a little get RPM's to 2 and Push the gas some you start spitting out leaves its pretty tight. :D
