A couple weeks ago I had my first autocross on the new coilover setup and bigger front bar (see sig).
Car handled like #$@$. Understeer going into the corner, oversteer coming out of it. Rear end would take a hop to the side during each apex of a tight slalom.
A couple guys I trust with setup were "you've got too much rear sway!". I wasn't sure. I mean, I went from 32/19 sways (and perfect balance) to 36/19, and spring rates went from 257/114 to 400/150. There was no way I had too much rear bar.
Answer: Car was too low in back. I had 1" of compression before I was on the bump stops, so I was riding them on most corners, which kicked the rear out on any disturbance (throttle on, bumps, etc).
Solution: Car raised 1/2". Bump stops trimmed by 1" (clearance checked by removing springs and raising diff with jack until something hit, then backing off a safe distance).
Just posting my experience so someone with similar problems (I lowered my car, changed some other stuff, car doensn't handle like it's supposed to!) can maybe search and figure it out.
