Okay, i asked this a while back and didn't find a solution. Please can i get some help! This started about a month ago. When i am braking to a stop in my car, the low track light comes on when the speedo gets to exactly 10mph and i hear a little grind noise and the car has a jerky stop. The brakes work perfectly at all other speeds; its only when i have rolled to almost a complete stop that this happens.
Couple weeks ago i took it to the dealer, payed $80 for a diagnosis and they said they couldn't get it to do it (at this point it happened 95% of the time- go figure). Money well spent. A couple days later i put air in my tires (they were pretty low ~22-24psi) and washed the car. The problem then just stopped for about a week, and has just recently come back, though not as often as before.
I recently learned about something called an abs speed sensor or abs wheel sensor. What is this? Could this be the problem? It makes sense b/c the problem temporarily stopped after messing with the wheels, but who knows? I would appreciate any feedback, as i am already out $80 and don't have a fix. Thanks.
