  • Shocks & Springs arrived today...

The take-off shocks and springs that I ordered from SLP finally arrived today. They should have been here Friday, but my sentiment had been "but hey, they got here".... until I opened the box. My box has all 4 springs and the rear shocks, but only ONE of the front shocks!! WTF am I supposed to do with ONE front shock? The one that they did send also appears to be missing the black sleeve that goes on one end... I have a bone to pick with those people come tomorrow morning...

As for the missing shock you should be able to argue that to them, but as for missing parts of the other one. I know they don't guarantee S*** for their take-off parts. They are sold as is as far as i know.

On the front the black sleeve from the V6 will fit on it. If you did not get the ones for the back then you have a problem. Big size difference in the rear shocks from ares to the V8
I am not CRAZY just temporarily disturbed.

When I got my takeoff shocks from SLP, I didn't get the dust sleeve also, but it was made clear when I ordered them that I wouldn't get them and that I should reuse the existing ones. As far as the missing shock, I would be pissed also. Give them a call on Monday morning and I am sure that they will work with you...they have always been very cooperative with me in the past.

The black sleeve wasn't a problem, I knew that I'd have to re-use my existing one. They just didn't send me both shocks. How do you not notice that? Does it not occur to anyone as they are sealing up the box that having just one of the shocks isn't going to be very useful?
